Lidia Piqué

Since her childhood, Lidia Piqué Pinto, founder of Enso Art Gallery, has been driven by an insatiable curiosity about existence, a journey that today converges in her artistic work.
Her painting is not just art; it is the manifestation of a life dedicated to self-knowledge and the pursuit of inner peace and calm, with resilience and flexibility being the fruits of her experiences.
Lidia's life journey is a rich mosaic of transformative experiences where everything is connected.
She has devoted her life to the study of Eastern personal development techniques, training in naturopathy, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, sound therapy with Tibetan bowls and gongs, delving into Buddhist philosophy and meditation.
Her love for art began at the age of 21, when she spent an entire summer in the USA learning different painting techniques.
At 24, she moved to Paris for a year where she studied art history, visiting numerous museums, galleries, and exhibitions.
This experience further awakened her interest in art.
As a great lover of Asia, she has traveled extensively across this continent, which has greatly inspired her, including stays in Japan to learn the profound teachings of the tea ceremony and the connection with oneself through meditation and silence.
In addition, she is a writer of books on tea and personal development, which reflect her life philosophy to inspire others.
The lessons from her experiences, including the most challenging ones, converge in the artistic expression of her work, which originates in Sumi-e, the ancient Japanese Zen technique.
Her work is a meditative act that requires concentration and full presence.
It does not seek to represent external reality but to reveal inner states, inviting the viewer to reflection through silence.
The concept of Enso is intrinsic to her work.
This incomplete circle symbolizes enlightenment, fertile emptiness, beauty, strength, elegance, inner peace, impermanence, imperfection and the infinite cycle of life.
This minimalist art gives us the opportunity to look within ourselves to visualize and create our own Enso circle.
