Almudena Angoso
Biography
Almudena Angoso (Valencia, 1989) comenzó su pasión por la pintura cuando era una niña gracias a la influencia de su abuela materna, también pintora, quien le transmitió el amor por el arte y su capacidad para expresar y contar historias.
Desde entonces, la pintura ha sido su compañera constante y el lenguaje a través del cual entiende y expresa su visión del mundo.
Estudió dos años Bellas Artes en Barcelona pero decidió continuar de manera autodidacta, e inició un recorrido creativo marcado por la exploración de la esencia humana.
En Menorca estableció su primer estudio artístico y desarrolló una obra centrada en el alma, los sueños, las pasiones, los miedos, los deseos y todos aquellos territorios emocionales que conforman la experiencia de vivir.
Su lenguaje visual fusiona retratos, símbolos, abstracciones y espacios oníricos que dialogan entre sí para indagar en el mundo que todo ser humano comparte.
Sus viajes y experiencias culturales marcaron mucho su obra.
Su paso por Singapur, donde vivió dos años, aportó a su obra una fuerte influencia asiática.
Más adelante, su trayectoria la llevó a Dubai, donde residió durante cinco años dedicándose plenamente a su desarrollo artístico y participando en numerosas exposiciones internacionales.
Entre ellas destacan World Art Dubai, International Art Fair of Monaco, Florence Biennale en Florencia, la Biennale de Arte de Dakar, además de diversas muestras en países como Grecia, Roma o Kuwait.
En 2024 regresó a su querida isla de Menorca para cofundar, junto a Lidia Piqué, Enso Art Gallery, un proyecto concebido para acoger, impulsar y compartir la creación contemporánea.
Actualmente crea y expone sus obras desde Menorca, tanto en la galería como en distintos espacios internacionales.
Su obra narra historias humanas y personales a través de imágenes cargadas de emoción, color y simbolismo.
Trabaja con técnica mixta, combinando óleo, acrílico, collage, yeso y otros materiales para construir texturas, capas y lenguajes visuales que conectan con el espectador desde la profundidad y la autenticidad, en un estilo que ella misma define como ‘realismo abstracto’.
Almudena Angoso (Valencia, 1989) discovered her passion for painting as a child, inspired by her maternal grandmother—also a painter—who passed on to her a love for art and its ability to express and tell stories.
Since then, painting has been her constant companion and the language through which she understands and expresses her vision of the world.
She studied Fine Arts for two years in Barcelona but decided to continue her training in a self-taught way, beginning a creative journey marked by the exploration of human essence.
In Menorca she established her first art studio and developed a body of work focused on the soul, dreams, passions, fears, desires, and all those emotional territories that shape the experience of living.
Her visual language blends portraits, symbols, abstractions, and dreamlike spaces that interact with one another to delve into the inner world shared by all human beings.
Her travels and cultural experiences deeply shaped her work.
