Born in Granollers (Menorca, 1981)

Marc Rosanas Rosa draws on elements from his island life (sand, sailboats, jellyfish, tides…) to create allegories of his ecological and social concerns, but also of his emotional and personal ones. Poems solidified in wrought iron that evoke the idea of chained freedom, the impossible dream of life once again being governed by telluric rhythms, and the illusion of slowing down time.

• Completed a Mid-Level Module in forging and artistic casting at the School of Arts and Crafts of Vic.


• Graduated with a final project at the School of Arts and Crafts of Granada.


• Studied and apprenticed in Italy with great forging masters: Roberto Giordani, George Reiking, Iadran Stenico, Filippo Scuoli, during a 3-month period in 2014.
